Hello, I worked with children and youths for the past 8 years as a counselor and more recently director of a children's camp that serves 100+ children a week in Durham, NC. I therefore have experience working with most all ages. I am a accomplished student especially in math and science. I am a strong believer that understanding how things work from the ground up is fundamental to one's ability to succeed and thrive. Intuition comes from understanding. I have always enjoyed helping others and working in a educational role. (In addition to academic education I have am a certified kayak instructor and I have worked as a culinary instructor). I am a Triangle native and have lived in NC my entire life with no plan to leave soon. I scored at or above the 90th or above percentile on the MCAT, GRE and SAT tests (11/11/11, 173/174, 740,670,690 respectively) and am currently applying to medical school. As a doctor I plan to practice as a pediatrician. I have taken about every math course in existence as well all general physics, biology, chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, sociology, psychology, logic and much more.
