Education

My major at Bennett College, Greensboro NC was in Business Management in 1990. I also completed coursework in Early Childhood Education for my credentials in 2010 at Forsyth Technical Community College, Winston-Salem, NC. I am learning how to read, speak and write in Modern and Paleo Hebrew Language.

Experience

I have been teaching since 2002. I was a lead substitute teacher with an assistant, for the elementary levels. I taught all grade levels K-12. I also was the lead tutor for a program teaching children grades 3-8 fluency in reading, comprehension, and phonics. I had a group of 12 children that I was responsible for teaching reading, math and good behavior. I have had the opportunity to live abroad and tutor children and adults in Amman, Jordan.

I am a mother of seven wonderful children, six girls and one boy. They range in age from 6-22. I love to read, I love action movies, and I love to drink tea! I enjoy arts and crafts and I enjoy going to the symphony. I also like to go to the beach, shop, and make handmade soap in my spare time. I also love to bake.
